LSU Cross Country and Track

I ran Cross Country and Track at Louisiana State University from Fall 2014 to Fall 2015. Although only a year and a half of my college career, this experience left a lasting impact on me as a student, person, and engineer.

Practice twice a day and traveling for races forced me to quickly learn how to manage my time as a college student. The competitive nature of racing taught me grit, perseverance, and humility. I was a part of a team, a team that had to work together at every practice and race. Still to this day, I remain friends with many of my former teammates.

Of all the lessons I learned while running at LSU, the greatest was that every great thing takes time. After my retirement from running, I was able to devote the hours that used to go to practice to studying and developing a passion for engineering.
