About
MY BACKGROUND
I am a Mechanical Engineer with a degree from Louisiana State University. I am currently working as a Quality Program Manager at a large semiconductor corporation where I lead the Global Quality Joint Construction Execution Team and manage a brownfield construction project at the Hillsboro campus. During my time in college, I was a member of the LSU Cross Country and Track and Field team, Plant-Based Society, and Student Peer Mentors. In my final year of college, I was on a team for my Capstone Senior Design Project, designing a vehicle to achieve the highest miles per gallon in the Shell Eco-marathon competition. Our vehicle never made it to competition due to COVID-19, but we were recognized as a Ben Burns Jr. Memorial Best Project runner-up and Best Capstone Report Award for engineering a safe, lightweight, and highly fuel-efficient vehicle achieving 217 mpg. In my free time, I am an environmental activist, with a focus on creating digital content relating to rewilding, urban naturescaping, and community-nature reconnection.
