About
MY BACKGROUND
I am a Mechanical Engineer with a degree from Louisiana State University. I was a member of the LSU Cross Country and Track and Field team, Plant-Based Society, and Student Peer Mentors. During my final year of college, I was on a team for my Capstone Senior Design Project, designing a vehicle to achieve the highest miles per gallon in the Shell Eco-marathon competition. Our vehicle never made it to competition due to COVID-19, but we were recognized as a Ben Burns Jr. Memorial Best Project Contender and Best Capstone Report Award for engineering a safe, lightweight, and highly fuel-efficient vehicle achieving 217 mpg. In my free time, I enjoy filling my small apartment with different varieties of plants (the current total is thirty), hiking on the weekends, and enjoying quality time with friends over a nice cup of joe.
